Cabin Mountain Living Center

Cabin Mountain Living Center provides opportunities for young women and men to achieve their highest level of self-sufficiency based on their individual capabilities. Clients of Cabin Mountain typically have diagnoses of Autism Spectrum Disorder or other neurodevelopmental disorders. Clients may transition from Applewood or Journey or they may enroll directly from another program. They may also enroll from the home environment, when appropriate.

The Cabin Mountain Living environment is a safe and structured community setting where our clients receive support and guidance from mentors, Certified Live Coaches, and other staff on a daily basis. Living areas are shared with same sex peers, with each having a private bedroom. Our Cabin Mountain clients manage Q’s Corner Thrift Store, help operate Deerfield Mini Golf, and may also work in community jobs. Clients are immersed in the community by volunteering and participating in civic activities. They are invited to all Applewood and Journey groups and activities to promote social interaction with peers. We strive to help our Cabin Mountain clients to achieve their individual highest levels of independence and quality of life while maintaining personal safety. The program utilizes the beautiful environment of Tucker County to provide an array of outdoor activities and challenges.
